Research results related to pollution state of different environmental sectors with establishment of the anthropic impact and different tools and techniques for data processing and analysis, by using mathematical modelling software, in the field of the environmental impact and ecological risk assessment; evaluation of the ecological risk determined on the environment (covering water, air, and soil components); research on mobility of wide range of dangerous substances in aquatic ecosystems; the management of the industrial wastes – development of advanced methodologies for identification and assessment of the risks caused on the environment by waste disposal (gases emissions, pollutants migration through soil layers and groundwater systems).
