Defective waste collection and transportation as well as the low amount of their recycling and reuse has resulted in an increasing amount of waste being deposited, sometimes at will and most of the times under adverse conditions that may affect the health of the population and can lead to the destruction of habitats and ecosystems. In order to prevent and control the flow of waste, several management systems have been implemented, as well as modern waste recovery systems that allow the reuse of a large amount of waste and less and less storage. |
