The sustainable development strategies implemented at local, regional level must be continuously updated in order to respond to the real needs of local communities. The present paper presents the results obtained within a pilot project carried in 2012 in the Suceava County, Romania, which tried to rebuild the local sustainable development strategy based on the capabilities and expertise of local specialists. The strategy was modeled using the Balanced Scorecard tool and for the first time a strategic map was created for the pilot region. |
