dc.description.abstractThe waste management in metallurgy targeting the main concept of "zero waste" it was developed based on procedures elaborated as regards management, capitalizing of specific categories of waste metal industry and proposed actions in order to improve the management system currently applied to wastes. Identifying actions needed to reduce specific environmental costs of waste management and prioritize them as a result of multi-criteria analysis covering economic, social and environmental relied alike and SWOT analysis of the waste management system in the economic unit representative metallurgical selected as a case study, allowed the identification of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks.en_US
