The main crater of gryphon type is characterized by gas, mud and water eruptions. The water expelled from mud volcanoes represents a complex mixtures of deep and shallow meteoric waters. The soil from upper terrace of Forocici gryphon (FG) is enriched in metals (Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu).
