Adsorption isotherms of uranium equilibrium are analysed with Freundlich isotherms which reveal high affinity to activated carbon impregnated with nano-iron compared to nonimpregnate. Kinetic study showed that the decisive step of the uranium adsorption process rate is the intraparticle diffusion.Activated carbonAdsorption isothermsDiffusionNano-ironUraniumNanoscale iron particles for wastewater decontaminationSymposium Proceedings
