Biography
Dr. Roxana-Elena SCUTARIU is a scientific researcher at the Pollution Control Department (Laboratory for water, soil, waste control) from the National Research and Development Institute for Industrial Ecology ECOIND, Bucharest, Romania. She graduated as an engineer at the „Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Environment Protection in 2012, and Master’s degree in Environment engineering at University Politehnica of Bucharest, Faculty of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science in 2014. She received her PhD degree in 2020 at the University Politehnica of Bucharest, Faculty of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science. She wrote a thesis with the title Technological applications of tangential ultrafiltration. Her research activities deal generally with chromatographic method development to detect various analytes in complex matrices at ultra-trace levels: pharmaceuticals, pesticides, microplastics are of primary interest.
