Biography
Senior scientific researcher, with more than 15 years’ experience in the field of ecotoxicology studies. She has expertise in the design of the laboratory experiments and the establishment of toxic behavior of various chemicals and contaminated environmental samples. She has a PhD in life science - Biology focused on ecotoxicological characterization of surfactants and their risk assessment. Their work corresponds to the international methodologies approved by Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD); International Organization for Standardization (ISO); Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH); Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (CLP / GHS). Also, she approached subjects such as: toxicity assessment of difficult substances and mixture; toxicity efficiency tests; bioaccumulation in fish or plants; biochemical and histological assessments; aquatic risk assessment; ecological assessment. She participated in more than 20 research projects such as Nucleu Program (2004-2020), EEA FINANCIAL MECHANISM – Grants Project RO0016; Operational Programme Competitiveness (2014–2020), National Projects PNCDI (2018-2020).
