| dc.description.abstract | Liqs. and gases contg. mercaptans, H2S, CO2, CS2, divalent S ions, thiophenes and other S cpds. are desulphurised by a combined oxidn. redn. and chemosorption process, by passing over a filling of metal shavings contg. Fe, C, Si, Mn, P, S and Cr at 20-400 deg.C and pressures up to 25 atmosphere. A simple, continuously working plant is used, with reduced energy consumption.
