    The basic idea that starts from this concept is the following: essential for business success, in a constantly changing world, is, first of all, an optimal organization of the activity, given to external priorities and rigor and not the availability of resources (financial). , materials, human, information, etc.). Business Process Reengineering (BPR) has become one of the most commonly used terms by management specialists and managers who want to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their businesses. Officially launched in the 1990s (M. Hammer, J. Champy, 1993), the reengineering revolutionized the managerial theory and practice at the company level, with the emphasis placed on the fundamental, spectacular, profound and radical redesign of work processes and, in especially those of value added generators. The key notion around which this unique mode of change gravitates is the "process", which, we must admit, the Romanian management made little reference to until the emergence and promotion of quality management systems.

    Regional economic development supported by sustainable tourism

    (IADITI , 2022)

    ;
    Cozea, Andreea
    The subject of sustainable tourism has been increasingly discussed in recent years because the complex connection between the environment and the economy has been acknowledged, and there is a pressing need for the integration of these two components, which means the foundation on the premises of a deep and lasting development, which generates a positive impact on society as a whole. According to the specialized literature, the paradigms in the tourism industry are changing. This shows what are the challenges facing the tourism sector today and requires special attention from the authorities and the economic agents involved, who must guide this industry towards a sustainable development in the future.Taking these findings as a starting point, we proposed for our research to highlight, in the first part, the role of tourism on the regional development and secondly the measurement of the impact of tourism, practiced intensively and extensively, on the environmental factors through a series of qualitative and quantitative indicators, highlighted the fact that the damage of the environment over time implicitly leads to the damage of the economic growth. The results of the research allowed us to formulate, in the conclusions part, several directions of action to be followed by regions with a well-developed economy as well as less developed ones, in order to boost tourism activity in the new context of respecting the environmental factor.

    The transition to a "Green Economy" - a challenge and a solution for the economy

    (2022)
    Manea, Gheorghe Cosmin
    ;
    Cozea, Andreea
    In the context of the multiple economic crises, the degradation of the quality of life in correlation with the environment are intensely debated topics in the current international policy. Thus, the concept of "Green Economy" was developed as an answer and as a solution to these pressing problems. The development of this concept has taken into account an economic revolution by integrating the environmental factors that will have to be taken into account in any political decision, in a joint international effort. By implementing this concept, the previous term "sustainable economy" will be developed through economic policies that make the economy more efficient, taking full account of climate change, the health and wellbeing of the population in the medium and long term. This study follows an overview of the concept of "Green Economy" and how it could be integrated into the Romanian context.

    Solid waste management is a major problem today. Defective waste collection and transportation as well as the low amount of their recycling and reuse has resulted in an increasing amount of waste being deposited, sometimes at will and most of the times under adverse conditions that may affect the health of the population and can lead to the destruction of habitats and ecosystems. In order to prevent and control the flow of waste, several management systems have been implemented, as well as modern waste recovery systems that allow the reuse of a large amount of waste and less and less storage.
