Abstract
In the project we proposed and realized the expansion accreditation of the Air Pollution laboratory with methods to solve the problem of quantifying the content of volatile organic compounds from waste gases emitted by stationary sources as total organic carbon, in accordance with Directive 1999/13 / EEC taken over by Romanian legislation by Government Decision 699/2003 as amended and supplemented through the HG1902 / HG1339 2004/2006, or as individual compounds according to the Order 462/1993. In the first phases they were purchased and put into operation the equipment needed to develop and validate methods: a gas chromatograph with FID detector, automatic TOC analyzer and sampling pump. Next steps were dedicated to the development of methods and their RENAR accreditation.
