Analytical performant method for extraction and determination of mobile forms of cadmium from antrophic soils

Abstract
This paper proposes a good chemical method for extraction and determination of exchangeable forms of Cadmium from polluted soils. For the extraction method was used a buffer solution at pH= 7.3 containing a mixture of 0.1 mol/L TEA, 0.01 mol/L CaCl2, 0.005 molL DTPA (SR ISO 14870/2001). The report between soil and buffer solution is 1:10, enough to extract all mobile forms of Cd. This mixture extracts not only mobile forms of Cd, but also exchangeable forms of other elements (Cu, Cr, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, Zn) and for this reason it was necessary to improve the report between soil and solution. For the determination of Cd was used the flame atomic absorption spectrometry standard method (SR ISO 8288/2001) which was adapted for the extraction of the mobile form of Cd with solution TEA, DTPA and CaCl2 .The performance characteristics established during the „in-house” validation of the method indicates that the method is able to give good information about mobility of Cd from antropic soils and it was validated.
