Abstract
The invention relates to a process for advanced decomposition of highly organically loaded sublayer and to the corresponding digester. According to the invention, the process consists in stirring the reaction mass comprising mud and anaerobic bacterial mass in the presence of a catalyst, with active mud recycling, to result in a high level of organic sublayer decomposition. As claimed by the invention, the digester comprises a pulsating supply vessel (VAP), a reaction vessel (D/R) with embedded catalyst layers, a hydraulic device (DEP1 /2) for pressure balance, an external heat recovery system (RC), a gas purifying system (C), assembled to one another by gas and liquid pipes and self regulation parts.
