Abstract
The dehydration of refinery effluent cleaning based sludge comprises flocculation with stirring at 80 degreesC, by means of polyelectrolyte based on dimethyl aminoethyl methacrylate. The 20000000 mean molecular weight 50 per cent cationicity methacrylate is in the form of a 0.05 per cent concentration
solution with an optimum dose of 25-50 mg of active substance per liter of sludge. EMBODIMENT Centrifugal dehydration gives 60-70 per cent aqueous recirculatable phase and 20-30 per cent recirculatable oil phase, and 1 0 per cent of dehydrated sludge, for use as 3600-4400 kcal/kg fuel.
