Multicriterial methodology for the selection of gyps waste sustainable management alternatives from the energetic industry based on coal

Abstract
The project created a management model (valorization and final disposal) of the resulted waste from the wet desulfurization of the flue gases from the great energetic units based on coal, using the multicriteria method of decision named Analytical Hierarchy Process for two relevant case studies of this industrial sector. The project has been established an hierarchical structure for the model to manage the gyps slurry waste, as it results from the process or with amended composition, by valorizing or managing the gyps slurry. An automated calculus support with computation spreadsheets, procedures and user manual for the proposed methodology has been realized.
