Abstract
The biological cleaning of liquid effluent containing detergents comprises aerobic cleaning of water containing n = 10 degree of ethoxylated nonyl phenol, anionic detergents and eg. petroleum products and heavy metals with addition of phosphorus and nitrogen salts (100:5:1 CBO3:N:P ratio).The cleaner has a submerged bio filter with a volcanic tuff support. EMBODIMENT Re-circulation and addition of a selected bacterial strain inoculant complete the process.
