Biography
Mr. Stanescu Bogdan Adrian is a Senior Researcher at the National Research and Development Institute for Industrial Ecology - ECOIND Bucharest. Its scientific activity is materialized in the following fields: assessment of industrial and non-industrial pollution, complex in-situ investigations on water bodies, soils or waste disposal areas. He has proven expertise in environmental risk assessment studies and in assessing the vulnerability of groundwater to pollution such nutrients and other chemicals. The recent activity refers to an ongoing project aimed at establishing geochemical thresholds for a series of soil and water specific pollutants by studying the concentrations of pollutants in different protected areas from Romania.
