Biography
Mr. Nicolae Ionut CRISTEA graduated from the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Chemistry, specializing in biotechnology, and received the Master of Science degree at the same institution specializing in Biomolecules. He completed his Doctoral studies in the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, at the Politehnica University of Bucharest, on photocatalytic degradation of persistent pharmaceutical compounds, identification of their degradation products, and characterization of the photocatalytic activity of titanium oxide materials. From 2008 to 2010 he carried out research activity at the National Institute for Chemical-Pharmaceutical Research-Development working on organic syntheses and analytical control of prostaglandin intermediates. Since 2011 to date he has been a researcher at ECOIND, developing analytical methods to evaluate environmental technologies and for pollution monitoring by gas chromatography, coupled with ECD, FID, MS or HRMS, but also using FTIR, AAS, ICP-MS, XRF, ion chromatography, voltammetry, thermogravimetry for various matrix characterization.
