Ph.D. Student Nicoleta Vasilache is a scientific researcher at the Department of Pollution Control (Laboratory for water, soil, waste control) from the National Research and Development Institute for Industrial Ecology ECOIND, Bucharest, Romania. She graduated as a chemical engineering at the University Politehnica of Bucharest, Faculty of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science, Department of Environmental Engineering in 2017, and Master in Environmental Engineering at the University Politehnica of Bucharest, Faculty of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science in 2019. She is a Ph.D. student in Analytical Chemistry at the Doctoral School of Chemistry, University Politehnica of Bucharest in 2019. His thesis is titled Assessing the environmental presence of inorganic pollutants in areas affected by anthropogenic activities. Its research activities include studies on the Assessment of the impact on the environment (water, soil, plants) in areas affected by anthropogenic activities and the development of spectrometric methods for the detection of inorganic compounds in complex matrices (soil, groundwater, plants).
